Latin America's Top Hack and Slash Apps' Q4 2020 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Hack and Slash category saw varying degrees of user engagement and financial success among the top applications in Latin America. Data from Sensor Tower offers a closer look at how these games performed during this period.

Netmarble Corporation's MARVEL Future Fight experienced a revenue peak of $52K in the week of November 30, with a general downward trend towards $34K by the end of December. Downloads showed an initial increase to 50K in mid-November before declining to 35K. Weekly active users started at approximately 559K but saw a decrease to 517K by the year's end.

Legacy of Discord-FuriousWings by YOUZU GAMES HONGKONG LIMITED also saw a revenue peak in late December at $36K, despite a dip to $13K in early October. The game's downloads surged to 9K at the end of December, while weekly active users increased from 15K to nearly 19K in the same timeframe.

For miHoYo Limited's Honkai Impact 3rd - Part 2, revenue more than doubled from $8K at the start of the quarter to $22K in late December. Downloads saw a significant drop from 111K in late September to 52K at the end of the year, while active users fluctuated, ending at 188K.

Kunlun Global International Sdn Bhd's Sword of Chaos exhibited a slight revenue increase to $7K by the year's end. Downloads, however, remained low, with a slight peak at 59 in late November. Active users saw a decrease from 15K to 10K over the quarter.

Lastly, the same publisher's BLEACH Mobile 3D showed a revenue increase from $3K to $4K, with downloads hovering around 6K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users experienced a slight decline from 21K to 19K.
